Boot Düsseldorf, the news of our brands
The 2019 edition of the Düsseldorf Boat Show is just ending, the time for us to make a synthesis of the new products on our represented brands: PARDO Yachts, BAVARIA Motorboats, SAY Carbon Yachts and finally SACS for RIBs.
PARDO Yachts, the interest for the PARDO 50 confirmed
It was a first for the PARDO 50 in Germany, Hall 6, alongside the super yachts of the most prestigious brands... And visitors were there to discover the flagship of Cantiere del Pardo! Awareness of the Italian shipyard is now well established in the open boat / walkaround category, aided by the thirty PARDO 43 models sold last year.
The particular design of these boats (inverted bow, refined hull - without exposed windows, T top bent at the base...) allows to recognize them at first sight, and the 3 models (38, 43 and 50) constitute a coherent range from 11.9 to 16.25m.
Some advantages of the PARDO 50?
Navigation first! A hull developed in concert with Volvo, to adapt its design exclusively to IPS engines. Results: the boat is very stable, and with the Volvo flaps latest generation (Interceptors), the passage at sea is without a drop of water on the deck, even with a formed sea.
Interior :
- 2 spacious cabins, each with their bathroom, and a third optional cabin for the skipper! With independent access, WC and water point. A unique configuration in its category.
- Impressive high in all rooms, rare for a walkaround.
- Excellent finishing and a style "made in Italy", we can immediately see the experience of Cantiere Del Pardo, with 4000 luxury Grand Soleil sailboats delivered in 40 years.
Exterior :
- Electric tender garage under the sunbaths, allowing to store a boat of 2.9 meters.
- Flush deck, no steps for more security!
- T-top consisting of a single piece of carbon, made by a Lamborghini supplier.
- Electric bimini permitting navigation up to 25 knots.
Next step for the Italian brand: the first launch of the Pardo 38 model, highly anticipated by our visitors for its smaller dimensions (11.9m x 3.5m), and announced sports performance (50 knots).
BAVARIA, the whole range including the brand new S45 HT version 2019
This 50th Düsseldorf Show was an opportunity to discover the whole range and in particular the latest developments of the BAVARIA S45 Hard Top.
This elegant 14m unit adopts a redesigned cockpit for 2019 with 2 impressive sunbeds in front of the hydraulic rear platform. A real invitation to idleness!
Likewise, the chaise lounge next to the driver now has a very nice headrest for even more comfortable crossings.
This unit can accommodate up to 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms, which is unique in this size.
The price of this boat, powered by 2 x IPS600 is 373.900 € VAT excl, an excellent quality / price ratio in this category.
SAY Carbon Yachts, world speed record for an electric boat
Interest in electric motors is also growing beyond roads. On the water side, the few ongoing projects are of great interest. This is the case at the "Boot" show in Düsseldorf this year, where the SAY 29 E sported its latest feat...
It is now official, the SAY 29 E holds the world speed record for a series electric boat with 89 km/h recorded at Lake Zell in Austria last summer.
Nothing was left to chance to reach this speed: the shape of the hull, the all-carbon design, the resolution of heating problems, etc...
This pioneering position, thanks to significant investments in research and development, should allow SAY Carbon Yachts to take a lead in this niche market.
A niche that will develop very quickly, driven by the maturity of electric cars and reinforced by various initiatives, such as some European lakes that reserve their access exclusively to electric boats some weekend...
SACS, THE RIBS
On the SACS side, it was to present for the first time on German soil the REBEL 40, equipped with 2 Volvo Penta Diesel D6 370 horses.
Awarded as "Boat of the Year 2018 (RIBS category)" at the 58th Boat Show in Genoa, the REBEL 40 inherits all the power of its predecessor REBEL 47.
Unique and extremely innovative, the REBEL 40 combines comfort, performance, pleasure and style.
The Strider 11, equipped with 2 x Mercury Diesel TDI 4.2 V8 370hp, was also presented with a sporty red and white upholstery... Enough to turn heads in the aisles of the show!
